Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Madinah (PMBAH) concluded its second participation in Bonyan 7 exhibitions for the year 2014, achieving the exhibit Excellence Award for the second time in a row, competing against more than 40 governmental and private institutions, PMBAH, was honored in a huge ceremony that was held at Taibah University, the operator of Bonyan exhibition series , where PMBAH’S Public Relation & Media Affairs Department received the excellence plaque as well as the appreciation certificates.
PMBAH’s corner at Bonyan 7 exhibition, which was administrated by the Public Relation & Media Affairs Department, provided both medical and health awareness services.
The corner attracted and serviced more than 90 thousand visitors, as well as the concerned pilgrim’s services officials from within the Kingdom and from various countries around the world.
Furthermore, the first part of the exhibit was dedicated to respiratory treatment, which was a target of many pilgrims and visitors looking for a free distinctive health services, in addition to, an integrated pharmacy, which contained a variety of medications for pilgrims common diseases.
PMBAH’s prime concern was to provide state-of-the-art medical equipment and healthcare services during the exhibit, through the rotation of 9 doctors and 5 nurses during working hours.
Statistics shows that this year PMBAH’s corner grew by a significantly in terms of demand for health services, where more than 4612 pilgrims and visitors were diagnosed in comparison to 2268 cases last year, with a 110% increase from last year, moreover, a 61778 medications were prescribed to the examined visitors.
At the end of Bonyan 7’s exhibit activities the Executive Director of Operations, Dr. Mansour Al-Othman expressed NGHA’s appreciation to all the participated departments that helped in making of this achievement.
