Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital, represented by the Nursing Education Department, hosted the world health day event on Wednesday the 1st of May 2019 in collaboration with Clinical Nutrition, Laboratories, and Dental Services departments and Infection Prevention and Control department. The event was dedicated to increasing awareness and knowledge of a variety of health fields such as diseases prevention, awareness of healthy diet, oral & dental hygiene, hand hygiene, and the importance of periodic analyses of early detection of diseases and public health.
The event, which was held at the entrance to the outpatient clinics in the hospital, attracted the visit of a large number of patients, visitors to the hospital and staff. The number of visitors reached 300, and necessary health advice was provided to them as well as various health manuals and publications.
