Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMBAH) - Al Madinah, Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs (MNG-HA) Celebrated “World Hypertension Day” on the 8th of March, 2017. The celebration includes several awareness activities that has been launched by Dr. Walid Al Yafi, Executive Director, Medical Services. Ms. Amira Amatullah, Associate Executive Director of Nursing Services attended the opening ceremony, as well as number of department managers, staff, patients and visitors. This event aims to raise awareness and educate the society about Hypertension and the importance of taking medications that increase the quality of life.
The launching ceremony witnessed the participation of several departments such as Nursing Education Department, Nutrition Department, Pharmaceutical Care Department, Ambulatory Care Department, Food Services Department, Medical Education Department, Environmental Services Department, Utilities and Maintenance Department, Property Department and Public Relations & Media Affairs Department. The number of participants has reached more than 145 participants. Moreover, the great number of visitors and patients who enjoyed the activities expressed their appreciation to the awareness efforts during the day.
