Five days after the successful separation for Yemeni parasitic twin in King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital (KASCH) in King Abdulaziz Medical City – Riyadh, Ahmad was discharged today.
His Excellency, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court, Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre and head of the multidisciplinary medical and surgical team pointed out that Ahmad’s condition is now stable, he started eating solid foods and normally interacting with his parents in addition to showing no signs of any complications.
It is worth mentioning that the surgery for the Yemeni parasitic twin was performed based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The twin arrived to Riyadh on the 8th of January 2016.
For their part, Ahmad’s parents extended their gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the multidisciplinary medical and surgical team for all their efforts.
