Nursing Services & Scope of Practice
KAH-Al Ahsa under the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), delivers comprehensive healthcare from outpatient to complex tertiary services. KAH-Al Ahsa is a 270-In patient bed capacity tertiary care hospital, with a total of 238 operational beds.
The Practice Environment Scale–Registered Nurse (PES-RN) Survey by Press Ganey is utilized as a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) within the all-nursing unit to assess the professional nursing practice environment and support ongoing Magnet® excellence.
Our multidisciplinary nursing team’s support as below but not limited to:
- Various Outpatient Clinics across specialties
- Eights (8) Operating Rooms and 12 recovery beds
- Advanced diagnostic and procedural services (Endoscopy, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Oncology)
- A full-service Emergency Department with trauma, isolation, and screening facilities
- Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services
- A pre-dialysis clinic led by a multidisciplinary team
