About Princess Noorah Oncology Center

Princess Noorah Oncology Center was established by the late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in order to meet the growing need for specialized cancer care. He laid the foundation stone for Princess Noorah Oncology Center (PNOC) in 1998. The center was officially inaugurated on 14 April 2001 to provide comprehensive oncology services for patients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

As part of the continued development of oncology services within the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, Pediatric Oncology services were transitioned to King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital (KASCH) in the first quarter of 2024, were patients younger than 18 years of age requiring oncology or hematology care can receive comprehensive, age-appropriate care from dedicated pediatric oncology specialists and others pediatric multidisciplinary team. Today, Princess Noorah Oncology Center is dedicated exclusively to providing comprehensive adult oncology and hematology services.

Located within King Abdulaziz Medical City, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading tertiary academic healthcare institutions, PNOC serves as a major regional referral center for eligible patients across the Western, Northern, and Southern regions of the Kingdom.

Princess Noorah Oncology Center is internationally recognized as an ESMO Designated Centre of Integrated Oncology and Palliative Care, reflecting its commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care through the integration of oncology and palliative care services in accordance with international standards.

For more than two decades, PNOC has been committed to advancing cancer care through multidisciplinary collaboration, education, research, innovation, and continuous quality improvement while providing compassionate, evidence-based care that improves patient outcomes and quality of life.
